These regulations threaten to significantly alter the curriculum and quality of instruction offered by yeshivas. They are opposed by the vast majority of private schools and parents across the state.

Hundreds of thousands of yeshiva graduates are prominent members of their communities.

It is vital that the State Education Department hear from our allies who may not be yeshiva parents or graduates but are leaders in civic and business life. We are entrepreneurs, vendors and employees. The skills learned in yeshiva give us crucial critical thinking and analysis skills and enable us to be prominent contributors.

Please submit a letter to SED and make it clear that your associates and colleagues who went to yeshiva are important partners who should have the right to choose the best educational path for their children.
